Maharashtra has a 720 km coastline from Damanganga river in the north to Terekhol creek in the south. It has a beautiful beach filled with tons of natural beauty. The entire coastline of Maharashtra is almost 10% of India's coastline. It has to be said that Maharashtra is a lucky state in terms of tourism as this delicate beach of Maharashtra, which is described as a rock country, attracts tourists with its natural beauty. Starting from Dahanu-Bordi village in Palghar district to the north of Mumbai, this coast extends to Vengurla in Sindhudurg district to the south, i.e. till the Goa border. Palghar, Mumbai city, Mumbai suburb, Raigad, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts of Maharashtra are situated on this coast. The Konkan region is rich in beauty, greenery, and natural beauty along the coast. ... This Konkan belt has many beautiful beaches with clear sand and blue water. That is why the beautiful beaches of Konkan have always been a tourist attraction. Proximity to the sea means beautiful calm beaches. The experience of spending time in the evening, walking along the beach, or watching the waves is something different. In this tourism of Konkan, one should try the Konkani Malvani food. Some places in the Sindhudurg district have been developed for tourism and there are opportunities for adventure sports like snorkeling and scuba diving. Such coastlines of Maharashtra are always crowded with tourists from all around India and even from abroad. It is safe to visit these beaches except during the rainy season from June to September.
