While wandering around the forts of Jalgaon district we came across a partially built but solid ground fort without any information. Kurhe Khurd village is located at a distance of about 8 km from Anmalner town towards Dharangaon. 3 km from this village i.e. 5 km from Anmalner city on the left side of the road we can see the big bastion and ramparts of this fort. I am giving the latitude and longitude of the place here to make it easy to find. 21.037694, 75.116259 someone has now named this place as Anmalner Fort on google map. The area of the fort is a small hill in this flat area consisting of beautiful ramparts and bastions. This partially constructed structure is made of rough stone and lime has been used to join it. ... In this construction, a big bastion and a rampart about 100 feet long have been built and the rest of the construction is seen to be incomplete. As the construction of the gate of the fort has not started, it is not known exactly where it should be. As the fortifications of the fort are only in the eastern part, the remaining part is only a hill. No water tank can be seen anywhere on this hill. Mangir Baba's place is right next to bastion. As there are not many remains of the fort, our trek is completed in 10-15 minutes and we begin our journey to the next fort.
